Chandrakant Patil Memorial P U College, was stared in the year 1999 under Chandrankant Galangalappa Patil Memorial Public Charitable Trust to cater to the needs of students of Hyderabad-Karnataka region.
The college has Science and Commerce streams with P C M B and P C M Cs combinations in Science and Computer Science, Economics, Business Studies and Accountancy combination in Commerce. The College boasts of best infrastructural facilities, with well furnished and ventilated classrooms, a basket ball court, a large football field and all the ambience required for a good college.
The college building is located in a area of 16 acres in picturesque surroundings away from the hustle and bustle of city. The management has taken every initiative to provide the best of facilities so that the intellect of the students can be properly nurtured. The college has around 14 class rooms, 4 laboratories, two staff rooms and a library with around a collection of around 5000 books.
Chandrakant Patil PU College conducts regualr awareness programms with different topics to make the students more awared and to mould them as a good citizen of the society. Traffic Awareness camp, Science camp, Computer literacy camp and others are the examples of the college activities.
SPECIAL FEATURES OF SCIENCE COLLEGE:
From many years the science college have initiated an intregrated coaching for state and national level competitive exams to make students aware and competative to face many premier exams and to boost students analytical and thinking capabilities.
There are around 1000 students, 33 lecturers and 15 supporting staff in the college. For the past many years our students have achieved stupendous results in both Theory and CET examinations and have been selected in many prestigious companies for high profile jobs.
The college have divided the number of students on the basis of their performance and on other academic scale. The college have groups like ELITE, EXPERT, PINNACLE, SPARK and AMAZE sections in PUC First year and ORACLE, PHOTON, ZENITH, ACE and KAIZAN in PUC second year respectively in order to focus, attend and counsel the students individually and specifically.
SPECAL FEATURES OF COMMERCE COLLEGE:
Chandrakant Patil Commerce college has started Chartered Accountants Foundation CPT (Common Proficiency Test) coaching class from academic year 2013-2014. The college has appointed many profesionals from the field of Commerce, Management and CA side to impart the students the real time practical in and outs of the CA course.
The ASAP – Advanced Skills Aquisation Program is first of its kind of Value Based Sessions in the karnataka where the students of Commerce stream get first hand ground exposure by participating in commerce related activitivies. This is the only activitiy where students can act and decide like a manager and entrepreneuer and with this, the students commercial attitude and skills groom up.
